Butternut Collage is the nom-de-plume (or should that be nom-de-scissors?) of Jake Kennedy, a Brighton & Hove based collage artist.
He’s been cutting up vintage magazines since 1993 when he wasn’t doing what he was supposed to be doing in a school class. Since then, he’s been featured on the cover of Viva Magazine and his record cover design for The Clash went into production as a Secret 7 final selection winner in 2018.
For Group Show 3, Conclave is showing 14 of Jake’s original collage works, prices range from £45 to £80 (unframed).
For High 5! (Summer Group Show 5) Jake is showing new original collage works from his explosive collapse series. All priced at £40, these are an amazing opportunity to own some properly affordable originals, straight from the scissors of a master collagist!
