Kid Squid is a Brighton-based, self-taught illustrator with a knack for creating darkly detailed illustrations, which – at times – incorporate a healthy dose of the absurd.
Kid Squid specialises in animal portraits and anatomical illustration. All of her work is hand-drawn or painted using pen, ink, or watercolour.
She draws inspiration from the natural world, studies in life and death, music and the human-psyche.
