LoFi

LoFi is a Brighton-based 2D artist heavily inspired by the visual styles of comics and graphic novels, making use of line and tone techniques used by those media. Covering themes of urban decay, and the way that our careful ordering of the world collapses back into nature the minute we look away. Abandoned buildings are a regular source of inspiration, with works often referencing the textures and accidental beauty they contain.

Lofi’s illustrations have been used for music covers, event posters, and dice designs amongst other things! Edgy and contemporary, they use a language we all recognise, but reference subjects we often ignore.

Lofi says: “Lately I’ve been inspired by the environmental crisis and the generally apocalyptic tone of the media to imagine a world after humanity, populated by our slowly-crumbling creations.”
