Sprite

Sprite is a Brighton-based street artist, often working with her partner, Snub23 on large scale works and commissions.

Coming from a background of street-art photography and blogging, she was inspired to return to the directly creative side of her practice, and has been breaking out the spraypaint for her own projects.

Inspired by colours and vibrancy of the natural world, her work frequently uses animal motifs, and is infused with a humour and sensitivity not often seen in street art.

In our “Hit for 6” and “Pieces of Eight” group shows, Sprite presented works from her Positive Messages Bunny series: a friendly reminder for all of us living in an increasingly isolated urban environment to check in with our mental health every now and then.
