Hello again, Affordable Art Fans. Bit of news from the gallery for you!
We hope you all had a fantastic May and managed to enjoy some of the Brighton Festival and Brighton Fringe events! Your arty and creative events don’t have to end there, though! We are super-excited to be opening a new group show this weekend, which celebrates all the wonder, oddness and all-round specialness of Brighton.
BRIGHTON: PLACES, SPACES & FACES features work from 26 artists, all responding to the icons, themes, stories, histories and landscapes of this fair city! It is free admission, open 6 days a week, and all works are available to purchase (all affordably priced at £95 and under).
With works’ subjects ranging from the Devil (of Devil’s Dyke) to Aleister Crowley; from our fishing village history to our current street art scene; from Victorian murders to the ever-present seagull; interpretations of our natural coastline to the (in)famous and iconic piers and Pavilion, there’s a huge selection of works, with something for everyone who wants to get their hands on something special to mark their visit, full-time residence or plain-old love of Brighton (and Hove, actually!)
Here’s a little sneak peek of what you can expect to find on our walls from Saturday 8th June:
