SUMMARY:BRIGHTON FRINGE FESTIVAL: This is What the Menopause Looks Like
DESCRIPTION:“This Is What The Menopause Looks Like” is an exhibition of portraits and interviews of 70 people from across the UK\, funded by Arts Council England. \nAfter experiencing a difficult menopause herself\, artist Catrin Osborne travelled the UK meeting\, interviewing\, and photographing people going through menopause. DESCRIPTION:“This Is What The Menopause Looks Like” is an exhibition of portraits and interviews of 70 people from across the UK\, funded by Arts Council England. \nAs part of the exhibition’s events\, this is a FREE creative and practical writing workshop\, hosted by Osborne & What\, and led by local writer\, Maggie Winters. \n\nOpen to anyone who would like to learn about writing about the experience\, addressing the impact of ageing and the menopause on identity\, sex\, and sexuality in a safe and supportive space (without any pressure to share work.) \n\nWhether you’ve never written before\, or are an experienced writer\, everyone is welcome\, regardless of writing ability\, gender\, sexuality or age.\n\nSATURDAY 4th JUNE\, 1-4pm in our basement events space.
