Lois O'Hara

Lois O’Hara is an artist and designer from Brighton.

She is fascinated by process. Her vibrant, diverse and creative practice takes in mural painting, design, art direction, printmaking and moving image. Her brand ethos has a consistent thread running through it. “I’m interested in capturing the fluidity of an image in motion,” says Lois, and it’s this sense of fluidity, combined with her bold colour combinations that make her style so recognisable.

Lois’s visual narratives and patterns are playful and she has a positive outlook on life; therefore, her artwork is influential and powerful. Lois is also passionate about how colour can have positive effects on people and places.

You may know her work from the outdoor terrace at Patterns nightclub, the bendy #25 “Togetherness Bus” in Brighton or the rainbow crossing on Brighton seafront. She also recently designed and painted the UK’s 1st ever giant basketball art court! (also in Brighton).

Her ever-growing client list includes: Brighton & Hove City Council, American Express, Pulpo, London Design Festival, Boardies Apparel, Brighton & Hove Buses, Patterns Nightclub and OXO Tower Wharf.
