Marnie Baker

Marnie loves the simple things in life: walking, wild-swimming and the great outdoors.  Her linocut prints reflect the untainted innocence of the in-person real-life escape from the complications, stress and turmoil of everyday life (her day job is in the NHS)

Created in a limited palette, with visible flaws and imperfections, her printing style harks back to the arts & crafts movement and its referential relationship to the natural world, and the wellbeing aspects of handmade practice.
