Mishfit is a Brighton-based street artist, painter and illustrator, creating figurative artworks inspired by the empowered female form, a love of nature, adventure and an exploration of the world and its endless diversity. Redefining Mother Nature as a figure of strength, poise and power within us all. Creating new goddesses for a cynical world.
A figure in the UK street art scene for over a decade, Mishfit has painted internationally from the streets of Melbourne to the Europes biggest street art festival, Upfest, and many places in between. She has recently started to work on smaller scale formats, embracing a fine art approach. Her loose brushstrokes and a playful use of colour creates a real vibrancy and energy that leaps from the work. Mishfit’s work is as much about the paint and the process as it is about the finished piece.
