Paper Draper

Paper Draper (aka Gina Ulgen) is a collage artist who works with found vintage materials which she uses within minimalist, geometric settings to create surreal, tableaus that both question and define physical space and social space.

Reimagining vintage commercial images that once promoted the picture of domestic bliss, the American Dream and the notion of a social “future perfect”, she carefully places snippets of those dreams into humorous and quirky scenes that play with scale, perspective and context.
