True Spilt Milk

True Spilt Milk is the award-winning design and illustration practice of Paul Phillips.

Paul’s unique aesthetic of intricate and colourful illustrations have been extensively used as album cover art, apparel, back drops, and gig and promo posters for the music and film industries.

With his highly versatile style, Paul tries to not fit into a niche and has worked with acts in diverse genres; from Villagers, Moon Duo and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, right through to “heavy” acts such as Lightning Bolt, Conjurer, Mastiff and Rolo Tomassi to name just a few.

His personal artwork practice focusses on surreal, fantasy imagery based on his experiences with anxiety and depression, and aims to create a visual space where he can connect with other people who may, themselves, also struggle with similar experiences.
