Ticketing
Once paid for, tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets are transferable, but the names of the transferor (the ticket purchaser) and transferee (the person to attend) must be confirmed in writing, along with the valid booking reference, by email to gallery@conclave-brighton.co.uk at least 12 hours in advance of the event start time. A ticket cannot be transferred more than once. We reserve the right to cancel any ticket orders which we believe may have been bought for the explicit purpose of reselling at a profit.
Payment must be made in advance via this online platform (https://conclave-brighton.co.uk/product-category/tickets) or in the gallery in person (during normal gallery opening hours) in order to make a reservation for the event. If you wish to pay with cash, this can only be done in person at the gallery.
We do not issue physical tickets. Please make a note of your booking number, as we will use this (together with your name) to check you into the event on the day of the event. We may ask for ID with your name on, so please bring this with you,as we reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone we believe to not hold a valid reservation.
In some circumstances, we may have to cancel (or reschedule) an event where we are no longer able to host the event safely, securely, or to the quality levels expected. In these exceptional circumstances, we will endeavour to inform all ticket holders as soon as possible of these changes. We will use the email address used during booking to make contact with you, so please ensure this is correct at the time of booking). We may also use your email address to inform you prior to the event of any requirements, or advice that we believe will directly benefit your attendance at the event.
Conclave Brighton Ltd (and/or the event promoter, where applicable) is not liable for any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made relating to the event should we have to cancel (or reschedule) any event, for any reason.
If the event is cancelled or rescheduled and the new date is not acceptable, the full tickets value will be refunded to the original payment method.
Tickets with an “early-bird” discount are only available at the reduced rate for the period stated in the event listing, and/or until the “early-bird” allocation of tickets has sold out. The full ticket price must be paid for during this time in order to secure the discounted rate, and we reserve the right to withhold (or remove) reduced price tickets from sale at any point. We cannot retrospectively issue discounted rate tickets where access to the online sales platform, card payment processing failures (or any other reason) causes delay or prevents the completion of your ticket order and purchase.
Tickets to some of our events issued directly by our event organisers. Where this is the case, their terms and conditions will take precedence over ours where there are any discrepancies, and in all instances, any purchases made from a third party are the responsibility of that third party, and we are not responsible for their delivery, content, or cancellation of their events. Please contact the organiser (or the ticket’s point of sale) to query any issues.
Admissions
We reserve the right to refuse admission to, and/or remove from the premises any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to and/or eject any person who is unwilling to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols in place at the event. This may include entry requirements such as COVID Status as well as protocols once inside the venue. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.
We reserve the right to ask customers who cause unreasonable disturbance inside the venue during events to leave. Unreasonable disturbance is determined by our staff, and is dependent on events. Please show consideration for our staff, performers, artists and your fellow event participants.
Events may be age restricted and it is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check before purchasing: where this is the case the requirements will be noted in the event and ticket description. For events where children are required to be accompanied by an adult, the accompanying adult will also require a ticket for the event.
Latecomers will only be admitted at suitable breaks in the performance or event. Not all events contain suitable breaks.
For some performances a ‘no readmission to the venue’ policy will operate throughout, please check on arrival at the venue.
You must produce a valid ticket booking reference and name to gain entry to ticketed events at Conclave Brighton Ltd (and at anmy time during the event, upon request). Failure to produce your ticket details may result in you being asked to leave the venue.
To ensure safety, we may conduct security searches of clothing, bags and all other items on entry and reserve the right to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the event or others.
Only drinks purchased at the bar are allowed in the event venue. You may be permitted to bring your own food with you to some events (please check with us in advance if this is important to you via gallery@conclave-brighton.co.uk). Drinks purchased elsewhere may not be consumed in the venue, unless specifically advised by us in advance.
Photography, audio and video recording is not permitted in the venue, unless you have sought the prior permission of us, the event promoter or our event staff. You may be asked to leave the event and venue if you do not comply with this requirement.
You are responsible for your belongings when attending the venue. We accept no responsibility for any personal property brought to the venue.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the venue at Conclave Brighton Ltd. Permitted smoking areas will be advised at each the event.
Please observe any instructions for mobile phones to be put on silent.
Assistance dogs are welcome in our venue. Please advise our Ticket Office in advance so we can ensure your needs are met. However no other animals are allowed without prior permission.
Our basement venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. If you are happy to be assisted by our staff, we will do our best to facilitate your entry to the basement space via our staff’s physical assistance to you, but please do advise us in advance so that we can do our best to provide appropriate staffing for you. We may ask you to arrive at a particular time in order to provide the most appropriate help to you. We are unable to move and carry wheelchairs down to the basement venue, but we can safely hold them for you in the ground floor area of the premises.
Warning: Strobe lighting, lighting that produces stroboscopic effects, and other theatrical effects may be used during shows in our venue.
If you have concerns about any of these elements being used at particular event that you are coming to see, please email us at gallery@conclave-brighton.co.uk and we will be able to confirm what effects will be in use. (Please note that this may not be instantaneous as we may need to contact the event organiser to get more information.)We (and our event partners) reserve the right to change, or add to these conditions at any time, for any purpose we deem reasonable to ensuring the safe and successful delivery of any event.
